QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent.
- Accurate typing, filing, bookkeeping, computer skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentially.
- Good public relations and telephone skills.
- Ability to work independently recognizes priorities in workload, and shift job-to-job as needed.

Assistant Superintendents
JOB GOAL: To order textbooks and curriculum materials for all district schools and maintain the District Textbook Depository for distribution of needed curriculum materials as necessary.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
(The following are the essential fundamentals to include but not limited to the following job duties.)

Provides a variety of services in maintaining efficient ordering and distribution of textbooks and supplementary materials to the schools.
- Executes the process of ordering specific elementary and secondary textbooks and supplementary materials in a timely manner.
- Organizes, prepares, orders and tracks all curriculum materials ordered in the district.
- Responsible for follow-up of purchase orders, backorders, deliveries, cancellation of textbooks and materials for all textbooks and materials ordered by Central Textbook Depository.
- Receives and consolidates requests for materials from building principals and appropriate district staff.
- Prepares requisitions, receives shipments of books and prepares receiving reports.
- Packs books for delivery to the schools, maintaining appropriate records.
- Maintains inventory and task force records for maintenance materials and task force adoptions.
- Assists in other areas of the DLRC as needed.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Wages, hours, terms and conditions of employment pursuant to negotiated Agreement.
