Job Summary:

We are seeking an Event Manager to join our team. The Event Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing various events, including but not limited to:

• Steamboat Springs farmers market - every Saturday beginning June 8th through August 31st
• GoPro Games in Vail Colorado - June 6-9th
• Colfax Marathon - May 17-19th
• Other events the manager identifies and wants to work (as approved)

This role will be responsible for ensuring event success from start to finish. This includes prepping for events (1-2 hours the week of the event) and managing the event and staff (i.e. set-up, retail sales, cleanup, etc). This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Additional opportunity to earn commissions as a wholesale sale rep for the Company for the right candidate.

Duties:

• Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including event prep, support staff (1-2 people), post-event cleanup and inventory management.
• Interact with potential customers to sell our product, handout samples and/or educate them about our products.
• Manage event timelines to ensure smooth execution of all activities
• Provide on-site supervision during events to address any issues or concerns that may arise
• Accountability for cash drawers and sales reconciliation

Experience:

• Experience in retail sales and/or as an Event Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry a plus
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Cannabis / Hemp knowledge is a plus but not mandatory
• Experience in guest services is a plus

Requirements:

• US citizen or Visa - will need to complete Form W-9
• Outgoing extrovert with a passion for sales.
• Experience with in retail sales and/or using POS system a plus

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 10 per week
