The Venue Assistant will assist the Venue Director at a stunning wedding & event venue.
Role/Responsibilities
· Schedule and give site tours to prospective clientele
· Follow-up with leads
· Reply to inquiries by email & phone in a timely & kind manner
· Assist with creating contracts/accepting payment
· Assist in maintaining reports & logs
· At times, assist with event set-up as needed (chairs, tables, etc.)
· Some light cleaning & grounds maintenance such as watering plants or removing trash may be required – we work as a team here!
Skills/Qualifications
· Works well with others, positive demeanor, energetic
· Manages time well, confident self-starter, can work alone
· Strong written & verbal skills
· Strong computer literacy (we use a variety of simple computer systems daily- google workspace, excel, word, Tripleseat (Event Management Software)
· Professional Appearance
· Reliable Transportation
· Strong sales experience is preferred.
Currently, this position is part-time (3 or 4 days week) with the opportunity to grow into full time in our busy season (Fall & Spring). We are looking for someone with flexible availability.
