Ticket Manager (Sports Event) - Higher Ed. jobs in Florence, SC

Rhino Sports is looking for friendly, customer service-oriented part-time employees for UNARMED event security positions such as bag checking, wanding, and access control. We are a hands-off company. There are also non-security positions that include ticket scanning, parking, and crowd control.

Pay is $14/hr. if you possess or obtain a South Carolina Security Registration. The course is 6 hours long and will be provided to you at no cost. Renewal fees will also be covered each year by the company. The pay rate for non-security positions is $12/hr.

This posting pertains to the NASCAR Cup race being held on May 12-14th, 2023. However, employees hired for Darlington will also have the opportunity to travel to work at other events. These events include the fall Darlington races as well as Clemson home football games.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years or older.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Be able to stand for long periods of time (outside, possibly in the elements).
• Must have reliable transportation and be available to work on weekends.
• Strong customer service skills preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay Rate: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour.
