The Ford Commercial Account Manager at Ed Shults Ford in Jamestown, New York will be responsible for promoting and selling Ford Commercial Vehicles to businesses and fleet customers. This is a full-time sales position in the auto industry, with a base draw and commission structure. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven individual with strong sales skills and a proven track record in the automotive industry.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive compensation package of $60,000 to $120,000 per year. Additionally, our company offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and reach out to potential commercial customers in the Jamestown, New York and surrounding areas
- Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients to promote sales of Ford commercial vehicles
- Conduct vehicle presentations and demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential customers
- Negotiate sales and pricing with clients, while maintaining profitability for the dealership
- Keep up to date with market trends, competitive activity, and product knowledge to effectively sell and promote Ford commercial vehicles
- Collaborate with other departments within the dealership to ensure customer satisfaction and a seamless sales process
- Meet and exceed sales targets set by the dealership and Ford Motor Company
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information and sales records in the dealership's CRM system
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the automotive industry, with a proven track record of success
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Knowledge of commercial vehicles and the automotive market is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Must be self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently
