Allied Universal is looking to EVENT JANITORIAL STAFF. This position is responsible for duties such housekeeping duties to incluse sweeping and mopping, cleaning restrooms, empty trash cans and safe handling of checmicals.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Event Operations Staff Responsibilities Report to venue as scheduled and visit the Operations Office where you will sign in on an Event Operations Report form and obtain a radio. Contact City Operations staff on Channel 3 and advise them on your arrival at venue. Contact the City Executive or Front of House Manager on radio channel 1 to inquire about any cleanup duties that may need to be addressed prior to doors opening. Answer all radio calls and respond promptly as needed. Immediately clean up any wet spills and place wet floor signs. Remove signs when area is dry. Make rounds on an 15min basis of public spaces including entrance ways, lobbies, and restrooms. Dispose of trash on tables and wipe down surfaces and counters as needed. Carry a broom and dustpan to remove trash and dry spills from floors during rounds. Continuously survey trash cans to empty and reline before they become overly full. Check restroom paper and soap dispensers to restock products as needed, ensuring continuous availability to patrons. Report time-sensitive maintenance issues (leaks, inoperable restroom fixtures, etc.) to the Duty Engineer via radio on Channel 1, before noting on the Event Operations Report. Note non-emergency facility deficiencies on the Event Operations Report form throughout work shift, to indicate post-event corrective action. This includes items such as burnt-out light bulbs, flooring issues, general maintenance needs. Bring trash from Scope and Chrysler to Scope loading dock for compacting and disposal. Place Attucks trash in the on-site dumpster. On back-to-back event days, assist with cleaning seating areas by spot sweeping and mopping. Prior to the end of the first show, stage items (gloves, trash bags, trash carts) for usher use to assist with seating area cleaning in between performances. Return unused items to storage areas prior to doors opening. Submit completed Event Operations Report to City Executive or Front of House Manager at shift end
