The Community Planning and Economic Development (CPED) department seeks a motivated Fairgrounds and Event Center Manager to manage the Thurston County Fairgrounds and Event Center and the annual Thurston County Fair. The manager will report to the director of CPED and work with the Thurston County Fair Board.
The Fairgrounds and Event Center Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the Fairgrounds and Event Center, managing the Thurston County Fair event, and marketing the Fairgrounds and Event Center for year-round use.
Key skills needed for this position include excellent organizational, communications, marketing, and experience with agricultural fairs and community event spaces.
