Tire Machine Operator sets-up and operates machine to re-groove tread surface of pneumatic tires. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience. Being a Tire Machine Operator has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Additionally, Tire Machine Operator works under immediate supervision.     Job Description:

    • Run/operate CNC Mills, conventional machines, and other manufacturing machinery.
    • Inspect parts and make machine adjustments as instructed to achieve production requirements.
    • Receive training at the Tooling department.
    • Inspect and measure finished product to ensure proper completion of process. Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
    • Read and follow work orders, schematics, blueprints. Perform basic troubleshooting on machines
    • May operate punch press, mills/lathes, conventional manufacturing machines.
    • Provide support to other areas of the production processes
    • Entry Level Machinists are welcome to apply!
    Requirements:

    • At least 2 years of machine operator experience.
    • Experience with Mills is Preferred
    • Able to lift, pull and push up to 50 lbs.
    • A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
    • Experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
    • Must be able to read and follow written instructions (blueprints, work orders, travelers, schematics)
    • Must have reliable transportation
