Tire Machine Operator jobs in San Francisco, CA
Tire Machine Operator sets-up and operates machine to re-groove tread surface of pneumatic tires. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience. Being a Tire Machine Operator has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Additionally, Tire Machine Operator works under immediate supervision. This job runs Monday-Friday or Sunday-Thursday from either 7:00am-3:30pm, 3:30pm-Midnight, or Midnight to 7:00am. Pay ranges from $19/hr (entry level) to $27/hr (high experience).
Requirements:
- Packaging, Quality Inspection, Production, or Machine Operation experience to some degree (low-high)
- Ability to visually inspect, and utilize hands to perform critical duties
- Ability to stand or sit in place for long periods of time
- Ability to take instruction, and read/write in the English language
Job Duties:
- Operate manufacturing equipment
- Visually inspect plastic products
- Pack/Ship finished product
- Maintain/Clean your workstation
- Utilize hand tools to perform critical manufacturing operations
- Perform Warehouse duties as needed
