Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Title Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in banking, escrow, loan processing, residential title processing and closing, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Review and process title orders for accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate with various parties involved in the title process, including lenders, real estate agents, and attorneys
- Conduct title searches and examine property records to ensure clear title transfer
- Prepare closing documents and ensure all necessary signatures are obtained
- Calculate closing costs, taxes, and other financial obligations accurately
- Maintain knowledge of current mortgage servicing practices and credit analysis
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including Fair Housing regulations
- Utilize basic math skills to verify figures on documents
- Assist loan officers in preparing loan packages and contracts
Experience:
- Previous experience in title processing or related field required
- Familiarity with mortgage servicing, credit analysis, and basic math skills
- Knowledge of contract preparation and loan officer assistance is a plus
