May require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Title Examiner is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Title Processor
Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for creating files, ordering title searches, emailing title binders to all parties and clearing any title issues in order to get the file to closing (i.e. obtaining mortgage payoffs, judgment payoffs, original certificates of redemption endorsed for cancellation, adjusting affidavits prior to closing and obtaining indemnity from underwriter). You will schedule settlements and provide parties with proof of clearance prior to closing. Some work assignments will be project-based including research and report preparation.
