Bentley Buick GMC Cadillac is currently seeking a motivated person with an outstanding attitude for a full-time title clerk position in Huntsville, AL. the position will also perform other accounting office duties as needed. Experience working with Alabama vehicle titles is required. 2 years experience preferred in an automotive setting. Other automotive accounting skills are definitely a PLUS.

Primary Purpose: This position entails processing deals when they come into accounting.

Measures of Success

• Ability to Take Ownership, Be Transparent, Take the High Road, and Celebrate Small Successes.
• Ability to take ownership of the deals turned in to ensure they are processed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Ability to perform auditing of deals and contracts and to post the data to Accounting.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all customer information incompliance to customer privacy laws.

Billing Clerk Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Process customer deals when coming into accounting.
• Check the deals to make sure all paperwork is in the deal and sure all paperwork is filled out correctly
• Post deals into accounting.
• Keep all customer information private and secure as to prevent fraud.

Other Accounting Responsibilities

• Journal Entries as needed
• New/Used inventory cleanups with deal adjustments

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong general accounting knowledge
• Well versed in using MS Excel
• Commitment to financial prudence and accounting diligence
• A history of success in a team environment
• Ability to utilize technology and programs to drive efficiency and stay current with our technology training
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (email, web, phone, in-person)
• Strong, creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to take initiative and think critically to identify improvement opportunities
• Ability to take ownership of the details – large and small
• Decision making that demonstrates good judgment
• Clean motor vehicle record and criminal background record
