  • Anchor Title, a fast-paced, growing title company, is currently looking for a top-notch candidate eager to fill a full-time role as a Title Processor. This is an hourly position with competitive benefit offerings to include medical and paid time off. The ideal candidate either has experience in the title industry or a closely related field.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Assist the Closer/Manager, from file intake and data entry, clearing title issues, ordering payoffs/estoppels and coordinating closings.
    • Assist Closing Agents with the maintaining of accurate files throughout the closing process and to inform appropriate persons of any need for pertinent documents or additional actions applicable to the transaction.
    • To collaborate with realtors and lenders to prepare closing documents, assist in scheduling closings, record documents, make appropriate disbursements when instructed.
    • Support in the preparations of closing disclosures, ALTA Settlement Statements, and other curative documents when applicable.
    • Process recordings
    • Proactively works to identify issues with forward progress of loan and title work and facilitates timely problem solving to help ensure timely closings for clients and stakeholders.
    • Responsible for proactively communicating and providing weekly status updates to realtors regarding the closing process of open files.
    • Other functions and duties as required as agreed upon with management.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree in a relatable field of study
    • Must have strong interpersonal and administrative skills.
    • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Must be able to handle a high volume of files and demonstrate excellent time management.
    • Willing to learn and grow in the title insurance industry through continued training and development.
    • Ability to gain proficiency with local Probate Court search engine for basic documents.
    • Well developed organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
    • Ability to be productive in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment.
    • Must be well spoken, professional and polished.
    • Must have the flexibility to assist with after hour closings when required.
    • Prior knowledge and experience in the title industry is preferred, but not a requirement.

Founded in 2004, we specialize in issuing commitments, listing binders, policies, title reports and escrow loan closings for residential and commercial purchases as well as refinances. We also provide services for debt consolidation, construction loans and 1031 tax exchanges.

    Expected hours: 40 per week
