Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Typist to join our team. As a Typist, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently typing and transcribing various documents. Your attention to detail and excellent organizational skills will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our written materials.
Duties:
- Type and transcribe various documents including but not limited to preliminary title reports and title policies
- Enter data into our title software
- Assist with office management tasks, such as filing, organizing documents, and maintaining records
- Provide personal assistant support to executives or other team members as needed
- Proofread documents for errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Handle customer service inquiries or provide customer support when necessary
- Perform general clerical duties, such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing emails
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Typist or in a similar role
- Proficient typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Strong knowledge of office management procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with data entry processes and software applications
- Attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in written materials
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
