SRG Global in Covington Ga is seeking a Crib Attendant! We are looking for someone with experience building relationships, and has an understanding of purchasing or MRO
Our Team
At SRG Global in Covington we will give you the tools you need to succeed and grow! This role will work with all areas within the facility. There is also a $1000 retention bonus after 90 days.
Open Position: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
What You Will Do
- Responsible for general crib needs -purchasing, receiving, stocks (FIFO), issues, labels and organize product as needed
- Receive Crib Items in CMS/ Coupa matching Items Received with Quantities Received and Packing Slip with PO request. Reconcile any differences with Vendor
- Support Coupa as a Central Receiver for Covington Plant
- Scan in a timely manner all packing slips to network library per policy
- Work front counter during open times and assist plant depts and maintenance as needed
- Fill dept grocery lists as needed
- Daily cycle counts and computer system updates
- Assist with preparing items being sent out for repair
- Assist team members with PPE vending machines and report badge issues
- Ensure critical spares are ordered in a timely manner
- Maintain environmental waste buckets, boxes, cabinets per work instructions
- Sort and distribute special order items to recipients
- 5S as needed and keep area clear of debris and clutter
- Backup support for Covington Buyer looking up PO's and correctly input data on packing slips
- Deliver packing slips and other paperwork as needed for non-Crib items
- Perform physical wall-to-wall inventory twice yearly
- Support vendors who supply product via VMI
- Contact suppliers for quotations on supplies needed for replenishment
- Actively support cost avoidance by sourcing products from multiple preferred suppliers
- Actively add MRO consumable items to the VMI platform with preferred suppliers
Physical Requirements
- To stand or walk on a concrete floor for at least 8 hours
- Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures and perform work indoors and outdoors
- Forward bending, squatting, resuming upright posture and bending from side to side
- Requires back and leg strength to move materials weighing up to 25 pounds
- Must have regular and predictable attendance
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Basic Math understanding
- Familiarity of working with computer software applications (CMS / COUPA / Excel / Email/ Teams)
- Prior purchasing or MRO experience
- Meets the physical requirements as listed above
