Tool Design Engineer designs and develops tools and machinery used to facilitate and optimize manufacturing processes. Reviews product design and build requirements to determine tooling concepts, design options, testing plans, and specifications. Being a Tool Design Engineer develops designs for fixtures, jigs, gauges, cutting and forming tools, carts, racks, and other items to support production. Utilizes Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to create accurate, complete, and concise design models and documentation to fabricate tools. Additionally, Tool Design Engineer estimates costs, resource requirements, and materials required for tools. May manage the sourcing, quoting, or procurement of purchased tools. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Tool Design Engineer work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a Tool Design Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

    As an Electrical Engineer, you will conduct and manage investigations involving residential, commercial and industrial electrical systems; examine and assess electrical equipment and components; and conduct fire origin and cause investigations. You will interact with clients and other consultants, manage multiple, unique projects, and prepare written reports summarizing your analyses.

    Technical Qualifications:


    • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (not electronics)
    • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
    • Forensic Experience
    • Advanced Technical Education degrees (a plus)
    • Computer Software Capable (for example: MathCAD, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office)


    Experience in One or More of the Following Areas:

    • Process Plants
    • High Voltage Power Generation and Distribution
    • Instrumentation and Controls
