Tool Design Engineer jobs in Buffalo, NY

Skills & Qualifications:

• Mechanical Engineering degree or Associates in Science with a focus on design and manufacturing (7-10 years of experience with complex machinery and or hydraulic components)
• Familiar with 3D modeling software's, specifically Inventor
• Familiarity with FEA and CFD software
• Ability to accurately quote prospective opportunities
• Knowledge of measuring and testing equipment
• Troubleshooting skills

Job Description:

• New product development - full cycle product mechanical design for hydraulics, ball valves, etc.
• Design failure analysis (FEA)
• Design and develop standard and prototype hydraulic components and systems
• Improving existing product drawings
• Design testing systems for product validation
• Conduct DFMEAs on new projects
• Adhere to ISO 9001 Quality Management System
