Tool Design Engineer designs and develops tools and machinery used to facilitate and optimize manufacturing processes. Reviews product design and build requirements to determine tooling concepts, design options, testing plans, and specifications. Being a Tool Design Engineer develops designs for fixtures, jigs, gauges, cutting and forming tools, carts, racks, and other items to support production. Utilizes Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to create accurate, complete, and concise design models and documentation to fabricate tools. Additionally, Tool Design Engineer estimates costs, resource requirements, and materials required for tools. May manage the sourcing, quoting, or procurement of purchased tools. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Tool Design Engineer work is closely managed.     The Blueprint (Role Summary)

    Interns are assigned to an organization department based on background, skill set, and interests.     The Build (Job Responsibilities)

    * Digital Asset Creation: Craft visually compelling digital assets for marketing campaigns, e-commerce platforms, and social media channels, aligning with brand guidelines and business objectives.

    * Creative Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing professionals to bring creative concepts to life, contributing your design expertise to new product development initiatives and business growth strategies.

    * Adobe Creative Cloud Proficiency: Utilize your expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects, to produce high-quality, on-brand visuals.

    * E-commerce Enhancement: Work on projects that directly impact our e-commerce initiatives, creating graphics that enhance product presentations and elevate the online shopping experience.

    * Social Media Engagement: Contribute to our social media presence by designing engaging visuals that resonate with our audience and support broader marketing goals.

    * Market Trends and Analysis: Stay informed about the latest design trends and conduct research to ensure our visual assets remain fresh, innovative, and competitive.

    * Cross-Functional Integration: Engage with various departments, including marketing, product, and brand teams, fostering a collaborative environment to deliver cohesive visual solutions.


    The Toolbox (Qualifications)

    * Academic Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design or a related field.

    * Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with a focus on Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.

    * Creativity and Innovation: Demonstrate a strong creative flair, bringing fresh ideas to the table and an ability to translate concepts into visually appealing designs.

    * Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all designs align with brand guidelines and project specifications.

    * Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, adjusting to changing priorities and project requirements.

    * Communication Skills: Effectively convey design concepts, collaborate with team members, and contribute to the overall creative vision.

    * Ownership Mentality: Approach design projects with an entrepreneurial spirit, taking pride in your work and demonstrating a sense of ownership.

    * Previous Design Experience: While not mandatory, any previous internship or work experience in graphic design will be advantageous.
