The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing a variety of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing processes. 1. Design and develop tooling, dies, jigs, and fixtures using software such as Virtual Gibbs and Solid Edge. 2. Conduct feasibility studies on designs to ensure they can be manufactured accurately and efficiently. 3. Collaborate with production teams to understand their needs and develop appropriate tooling solutions. 4. Perform detailed analysis and testing of tools and dies to ensure they meet quality standards and performance requirements. 5. Create detailed documentation of designs, including specifications, assembly instructions, and maintenance guides. 6. Troubleshoot issues with tools and dies and make necessary modifications or repairs. 7. Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in tool and die design to enhance efficiency and productivity. 8. Work in compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred. 2. A minimum of 2 years of experience doing Tool and Die Design in the manufacturing industry. 3. Proficiency in using design software such as Virtual Gibbs and Solid Edge preferred. 4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and tooling design principles. 5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions. 6. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently. 7.
