Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Design Engineer to join our Municipal Engineering Group in Bryan, Texas.

Responsibilities
- Perform engineering calculations for water, sanitary, drainage, and road designs.
- Lead design tasks with other EITs, designers, and technicians.
- Produce submittal-ready package with plans, specifications, estimates, and applications to governmental and private entities.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
- Produce exhibits with proposed design and existing infrastructure to present to clients.
- Assist project engineer in cost and schedule updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- 2-5 years of experience designing roads, waterlines, sanitary sewer, and drainage facilities.
- Proficient in design with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Ability to calculate pipe capacity, drainage areas, vertical curves, and horizontal curves.
- Ability to produce construction-ready plans.
- Ability to review and interpret prepared survey drawings/data.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate is required.
- Self-starter who can work independently and with team members.
- Ability to interact well with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of local city, county, and state land use processes and regulations.
- Bluebeam proficiency preferred.
- Proficiency in technical skills in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analysis, grading, and other site development-related designs, preferred.
