Position: Structural Engineer, SE

Location: Wenatchee, Washington

Job Description:

As a Structural Engineer at Complete Design, Inc., you will have the opportunity to work on challenging and impactful projects, contributing your expertise to shape the built environment. You will collaborate with a team of passionate engineers, architects, and designers to develop safe, efficient, and innovative structural solutions that exceed our clients' expectations. This role will involve a mix of analysis, design, project management, and on-site coordination, providing you with a well-rounded experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct structural analysis and design for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Prepare detailed engineering plans, calculations, and drawings using specialized software and tools.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop integrated design solutions that meet project requirements.
• Perform site visits and inspections to assess existing structures, identify potential issues, and provide engineering recommendations.
• Review and evaluate project proposals and construction documentation for technical accuracy and feasibility.
• Oversee and manage construction projects to ensure structural integrity and adherence to project schedules and budgets.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on industry advancements and best practices.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and support staff when needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 5 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in a private firm setting.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software, such as RISA-3D ETABS, SAP2000, Excel or similar.
• Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional Structural Engineering (SE) Washington State license or ability to obtain.
• Experience in managing projects and working with clients is an advantage.
• Work ethic and desire to produce high level uncompromised documentation
