General Job Description:

Perform Civil Design duties for projects in the oil and gas industry. Work with engineers, designers, and project managers to create accurate drawing packages for construction. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Must work well in a Team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the integrity of 3S Services HSE policies.
• Completing project task in accordance with 3S Policies and Procedures
• Utilize CAD software such as AutoCad to create detailed drawings
• Interpret engineering specifications, sketches, laser scan data and rough drafts provided by project teams.
• Develop plans for layout, construction of oil and gas facilities including equipment, foundations, and steel structures
• Coordinate with civil engineers, surveyors, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate representation of project requirements and expectations
• Collaborate with project managers to address any design modifications or field adjustments.
• Enhance 3S Services reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new/different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to the job accomplishments.
• Will require occasional field work.
• Perform other work as instructed by the company.

Qualifications:

• 5 to 10 years of design experience in the Oil and Gas Industry/Upstream experience required. Familiarity with industry codes and standards. ANSI, AISC, ACI
• General knowledge of facility design practices including foundation design, and structural design.
• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCad, CADWorx, Navisworks, AutoCad Plant 3D, Advanced Steel, and Civil 3D).
• Associate Degree in drafting from a community college or technical school or experience commensurate with the position.
