The Product Manager role is a mix of technical support, marketing, and collaborating with customers and design engineering to evaluate current products and make recommendations for research and development. The Product Manager will utilize their expertise in the metal cutting industry as well as their strong communication skills to work closely with customers to help solve their technical problems, to complete technical writing, and make integral contributions to product innovation. A people-person with a high level of interest in the industry would be a great fit.

Essential job duties and Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for creating and sending quotes to customers for repairs
• Providing technical expertise to customers in regard to cutting tool products and applications
• Technical writing, development of marketing materials including new product announcements
• Attending seminars, trade shows, and other industry events
• Collaborating with design and proposal engineering to assist with projects and new product development

Skills/Qualifications:

• Expertise within the cutting tool industry and/or CNC machining
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Bachelors degree highly preferred, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing technology discipline
• Willingness to travel up to 30%
• Ability to build rapport and relationships with customers, employees, and business partners

This is a full-time position that may require intermittent overtime based on workflow demands (including potential for long shifts and/or weekend work).
