Tool, Die, and Gauge Making Supervisor oversees skilled workers responsible for constructing, maintaining, modifying, and calibrating machine shop tools, dies, prototypes, jigs, fixtures and molds. Supervises the set up and operation of various lathes, grinders, milling, and boring machines used to produce tools. Being a Tool, Die, and Gauge Making Supervisor completes high level tool development work. Ensures jobs are completed correctly and on time. Additionally, Tool, Die, and Gauge Making Supervisor may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Fox Valley Tool and Die is looking to add a new team member to our front office area. This an excellent entry-level administrative position for someone who is looking to grow their development within a great organization!
Responsibilities
· Perform general office duties, such as answering phones, taking messages, and routing calls to appropriate staff members and providing excellent phone etiquette when interacting with clients or customers.
· Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
· Responsible for performing miscellaneous administrative duties and routine accounting activities.
· Responsible for scanning, shredding, filing and data entry of set up sheets as needed.
· File and organize documents, both physical and electronic, ensuring they are easily accessible.
· Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock levels and placing orders as needed.
· Collaborate with various business departments to gain insights and contribute to cross-functional projects
· Review AP invoices, determine the correct coding and enter invoices into the accounting system.
· Support management with various administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/ GED required
- Currently enrolled in a technical college or undergraduate program with a major in a disciple of business or related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational, problem solving, communication and skills
- High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, and confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Programs and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and other office software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
