Supervises the set up and operation of various lathes, grinders, milling, and boring machines used to produce tools. Being a Tool, Die, and Gauge Making Supervisor completes high level tool development work. Ensures jobs are completed correctly and on time. Additionally, Tool, Die, and Gauge Making Supervisor may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic employees to join our team. Positions available for barista, ice cream server, candy maker, bakery, cashier. Ability to be flexible with positions within the food service establishment a plus. Baristas will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality coffee and beverages to our customers. Bakery workers will be responsible for crafting fine baked goods, stock keeping and ordering of necessary items to produce baked goods. Ice cream workers will be responsible for making and serving customers various ice cream treats as well as cashiering. Candy workers will be responsible for making and serving fine chocolates and fudge. Workers willing to train in multiple areas a plus.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, including espresso-based drinks, drip coffee, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate coffee equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewers
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Prepare and serve specialty ice cream items and ensure cleaniness of ice cream counter and area
- Prepare and serve high quality candy and fudge
- Produce fine baked items
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register accurately
- Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any concerns or questions
Skills:
- Strong math skills for cash handling and calculating orders
- Knowledge of culinary techniques for beverage preparation
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and safety procedures
- Previous experience in a restaurant or café setting is preferred
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in operating a cash register or point-of-sale system
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices
- Basic retail math skills for inventory management
- Job requires a WA state food handlers permit
