Position overview:
The Customer Order Manager's primary duties include receiving customer orders, reviewing customer PO for accuracy, confirming ship dates, keeping customer records up to date, print packing slips, maintain pricing and proof of delivery information. This position is also responsible for maintaining customer price lists, reviewing backlog of past due orders and payments, preparation of A/R reporting weekly collections, maintain customer quote spreadsheet.
Reporting to the Controller, the Customer Order Manager will work closely with the accounting team and operations team to strive for the highest possible level of accuracy. Other important duties include making recommendations for improvements in order tracking system, monitoring backlog of orders, and having a continuous improvement mindset.
