Our Client, Champion Childcare, an Ohio Licensed Childcare program, is hiring for a Lead Teacher for our Facility in Paddock Hills/Avondale, OH Early Head Start Partnership Preschool Promise Tuition Assistance Partner SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under general supervision, the Lead Teacher will ensure the safety and well-being of each child in care. He or she will perform a variety of tasks, such as dressing, feeding, bathing, and facilitating the learning experience through intentional play, activities and interactions. The Lead teacher must be able to plan and implement activities that support healthy child development. Using the Creative Curriculum, the Lead Teacher must be able to facilitate play in a way that is educational and that provides enrichment to each child in the classroom. The Lead Teacher also directs the activities of the Assistant Teacher. He or she must be enthusiastic, positive, energetic, and passionate about childcare. WHAT WE OFFER: Competitive Pay Competitive PTO Program Childcare Discounts Tuition Assistance through Preschool Promise and TEACH Free CDA Training 401K Savings with Company Match Medical Plan Reimbursement Attendance Bonuses Annual Bonuses DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (May include, but are not limited to) Adherence to all ODJFS licensing rules Adherence to all SUTQ program guidelines Adherence to all EHS and/or Preschool Promise program guidelines Designing and participating in curriculum aligned activities Instructing children in health and personal habits, such as eating, resting, and toilet habits Serving meals and snacks and regulating rest periods Accompanying children to and from school and on field trips; Weekly lesson planning and daily plan execution ASQ Screenings (within 30 days of enrollment and annually) TS Gold Assessments (Quarterly) Plan and execute parent conferences and other collaboration strategies Identifying signs of emotional or developmental problems and bringing to parents'/guardians' attention Sanitizing toys and play equipment; organizing/storing toys and materials to ensure order in activity areas, and performing general housekeeping duties QUALIFICATIONS: Required: Associates Degree in ECE or related subject. Unrelated degrees and relevant experience will be considered. The Lead Teacher must be able to obtain CPL Level 3 within 6 months of hire Center Hours are 6am -11pm (Monday thru Friday). Multiple Shifts Available Must be able to successfully pass an ODJFS background check and be deemed suitable for work in a childcare setting. Seeking positive, upbeat individuals. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations: We are adhering to all CDC guidelines concerning childcare. Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $15.00 - $17.00/hour.
