Tax Professional Job Summary

I am a small, forward looking accounting office, currently experiencing rapid grow. I am currently searching for 1 or 2 licensed tax professionals. That are wanting to expand their knowledge of tax. If you are already a CPA or have the ability to be licensed as one you can also be considered for wealth and tax strategies. Tax Professional Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns
• Interact with clients via zoom, phone, email, and in-person
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual audits
• Review and approve expense reports
• Review and reconcile clients' general ledger regularly
• Maintain compliance with all federal and state regulations at all times
• Uphold the excellent reputation of our firm
• Maintain constant communication with the senior accountant and our clients
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve shared goals

Tax Professional Requirements and Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in accounting or relevant field required
• Experience using tax software is required
• Minimum 1-year experience as an accountant or bookkeeper for multiple clients
• Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office and databases
• Familiarity with Quickbooks and financial statements
• Consistent, accurate, thorough, and detail-oriented
• Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal
• Polished phone and email etiquette
• Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
• Minimal travel

What we need

• Corporate and personal tax experience is a plus
• Experience with accounts payable and receivable is preferred
• Experience with audits, budget creation, and expense reports strongly preferred
• Master's degree preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a plus

Compensation dependent upon experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience level:

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

• Albany, OR 97322: Relocate before starting work (Required)
