Our small business currently requires a Pool Technician to operate and maintain our swimming pools. The Pool Technician will be responsible for ensuring that pool water is clean and balanced according to our maintenance schedule, and will be expected to both perform mechanical repairs on the pool equipment and answer guest inquiries. Detailed maintenance reports will be sent to our customers for each maintenance visit. The successful candidate will take direction well, be comfortable working independently and have experience operating various types of pool equipment.

Requirements:

• Valid drivers license or ID.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of pool cleaning & proper maintenance methods recommended.
• Prior experience not needed, but recommended
• Knowledge of PVC plumbing, valves, and pool equipment is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Ability to work in harsh weather conditions.
• Professional appearance.
• Loyalty and the drive to perform all duties with excellence.
• Clean criminal background.

Responsibilities:

• Ride with another technician to customer location's.
• Maintain a clean and healthy swimming pool for our customers.
• Prepare chemicals as needed for water treatment.
• Testing swimming pool water and chemical levels.
• Cleaning swimming pool using authorized equipment.
• Servicing and fixing faulty pool cleaning equipment as directed.
• Completing paperwork and reporting service requirements to our customers/management.
• Any other duties assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
