Position Summary:
The Server ensures all guests are provided with prompt and friendly service according to our Flat Top Grill standards. The server describes menu items, assists guests in making food & beverage selections, takes and rings in orders, delivers food and beverages, processes payments, and assists fellow teammates to ensure overall guest satisfaction under the supervision of the management team.
Skills, Duties, Responsibilities & Requirements:
✓ Time & Attendance – 5 minutes before your scheduled shift, in uniform with apron and
any required materials needed for a successful shift.
✓ Adhere to all uniform requirements; maintain a clean and professional appearance, well-groomed.
✓ Attend daily shift meetings and be knowledgeable of any upcoming specials, events,
menu changes, weekly focuses, etc. as dictated by the management team.
✓ Follow all steps of service and standard operating procedures
✓ Assist guests at Fresh Food Line with sauce combinations, colored stick options, and
anything else the guest needs assistance with.
✓ Ensure cleanliness of Fresh Food Line, wiping down ledge, maintaining tongs, restocking taster cups, restocking colored sticks, etc.
✓ Assist host or hostess by answering phones to take reservations and answer guests’
questions, assist in greeting, seating, and thanking guests.
✓ Perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, tidying up server station, checking and cleaning bathroom, etc.
✓ Complete all daily, weekly, and running side work and any additional projects or
responsibilities as given by the management team
✓ Perform general physical activities including extended use of your arms, legs, and body; may include climbing, lifting up to 50lbs, balancing, moving, and bending.
✓ Ability to remain active and on your feet throughout the duration of your shift
✓ Maintain table appearance by removing dirtied items, replenishing utensils, refilling
water & beverage glasses, being alert to patron spills, anticipating and taking care of any
