    Executive Administrative Assistant

    Salary Range: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour, DOE

    Job Description:Walla Walla Catholic Schools is accepting applications for a
    full-time executive assistant to manage the DeSales office and provide assistance to
    Administrators in the Walla Walla Catholic Schools system.

    Relationships:

    • Is hired, supervised and evaluated by the Principal of WWCS in consultation
    with the President
    • Supportive of the Mission of the WWCS
    • Collaborates with other school administrators/staff
    • Complies with WWCS policies and procedures
    • Complies with policies and regulations of the Catholic Diocese of Spokane
    • Complies with state and federal laws and regulations

    Staff:

    • In consultation with the Principal, or his designee, supervise DeSales and
    Assumption office staff and office volunteers

    Time and Benefits:

    • Full time 40 hours/week - 215 days a year, August through June
    • Regular office hours, plus once a month evening board meeting
    • Flex time: adjusted for required tasks

    Qualifications:

    • Roman Catholic (preferred)
    • Active in his/her faith community
    • Bilingual (preferred)
    • AA or BA degrees (preferred)
    • Current First Aid/CPR
    • Proficient or the ability to become proficient in Microsoft Office, Google
    Calendars/Docs, Skyward and Parent Square
    • Office experience
    • Written and verbal articulation
    • Familiarity with Catholic School environment

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible to President and Principal of WWCS
    • Coordination with the President and Principal with scheduling, communication
    and correspondence when requested.
    • Oversees management of Assumption office staff and DeSales student
    volunteers
    • Maintains a friendly, professional and efficient atmosphere.
    • Maintains professional appearance in the school
    • Coordination of daily attendance policy and records for students and staff
    • In consultation with WWCS Counselor, oversight of student records
    • Oversight of required student forms, emergency forms, release forms, field trip

    forms for staff and teachers

    • In consultation with the Business office, coordination of ordering office and
    staff supplies
    • Oversight and completion of copying materials
    • Oversight of DeSales and Assumption staff in preparation of
    daily/weekly/monthly/yearly staff and student bulletins and calendars
    • Coordination with office staff on contacts for substitute teachers
    • Implementation of new and returning student data into Skyward Student
    Management System
    • Oversight and coordination with DeSales and Assumption office staff and
    faculty with parent conferences
    • Assists with grade reports to parents
    • Oversight and completion of all necessary forms and documents for state,

    local and diocesan levels. Including but not limited to: NCEA reports, Diocesan
    reports, State Board of Education application for approved schools, Federal
    Title monies application and forms

    • In consultation with the Principal, registration information for teacher
    Professional Development.
    • Oversight for DeSales and Assumption office of Emergency, safety and
    security responsibilities.
    • Other tasks as reasonably assigned
