Asset Coordinator

  • Anchor NW Property Management is a rapidly expanding family-owned property management company. We currently have over 30 beautiful apartment communities throughout SE, NE, and NW Portland and a corporate office located in Beaverton, OR. The Maintenance Division of Anchor NW is devoted to ensuring that any necessary repairs are handled quickly and professionally.

    Key Responsibilities

    ● Oversee all appliance and asset related work orders

    ● Coordinate with tenant for permission to enter and scheduling of entry

    ● Ensure all maintenance work orders are completed correctly and to the standards of Anchor NW Property Group

    ● Maintain all maintenance logs, work orders, and any other paperwork as needed

    ● In coordination with Turnover Coordinator and Field Administrator, schedule a team of 20 maintenance staff in an efficient and effective manner making the best possible use of time and resources

    ● Schedule vendors and inspections as needed

    ● Schedule routine preventative maintenance items for the buildings

    ● Schedule all daily issues outside work orders (e.g. homeless removal, building issues, ground issues, security issues)

    ● Assist with scheduling of Asset related projects

    ● Work under multiple work constraints and deadlines

    ● Work with Field Administrator and Tenant Relations on building-wide issues

    ● Comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, and policies

    ● Assist Facilities Director as needed

    Supervisory Responsibility

    Appliance Technician, Sr. Lead, Cleaners

    Reports Directly to: Field Operations Manager

    Works Directly With: Turnover Coordinator, Field Administrator, Field Managers, Territory Leads, Field Technicians (I, II, III), Grounds Technicians, Superintendent, Mechanical Engineer

    Minimum Qualification & Transferable Skills*

    ● 2 years working in customer service or technical support field

    ● Demonstrated ability to assess ambiguous situations

    ● Demonstrated communication and deescalation skills

    Success Factors

    ● Must meet physical requirements of the job: able to lift, carry, pull or push 50 lb; climb stairs, step stools or ladders up to 6’ ft high, twist, crouch, kneel or crawl

    ● Able to operate equipment and tools required to perform job duties

    ● Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, which may include weekends and evenings

    ● Must have basic computer/mobile software skills

    ● Maintain a business-like image at all times while representing Anchor NW Property Group. Be professional in both manner and speech, always projecting a positive image of Anchor NW Property Group

    ● Assist as needed, during emergency situation

    ● Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

    ● Report unusual issues to management

    ● Attend training and education classes/opportunities as management deems necessary and essential to the performance of the maintenance department and personal development

    ● Maintain and create a welcoming community for all visitors, residents, vendors and city inspectors

    ● Complete all payroll entries accurately to properly record time, jobs and GL codes

    ● Comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, and policies

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week
