    Position Summary:

    Within our three pillars of Technology, Asset Management, and Investment Operations, SEI has a goal of driving significant revenue and margin growth over the next 3-5 years. A key contributor in achieving this objective is the continued growth of its Asset Management business. SEI is looking for an Executive Vice President of Asset Management who will collaborate with the CEO in setting, and driving, the organizational vision for our asset management strategy, and working in partnership across the organization with other leaders. We are looking for an individual who can expand our current footprint, attack new segments, and manage a large existing business. Overseeing a team of approximately 1,000 employees, the individual will act as a transformational leader, dedicated to strategic change and will be responsible for translating this strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting and measuring for success in all operational areas. Key success measures include profitability, growth, and organizational performance as well as retention and satisfaction measures for both clients and associates.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Acting member of SEI's Executive Committee
    • Lead the strategy, revenue growth and profitability across the Asset Management Groups including: US and Canada, Institutional and Wealth Solutions and Independent Advisor Solutions units. The Chief Investment Officer and Chief Investment Product Officer also report to this individual
    • Head of SEI's Distribution Company
    • Lead continued innovation of services, team structure and leverage technology to serve a diverse set of clients as the marketplace continues to evolve amid changing customer demands
    • Drive strategy and solution adoption across the breadth of clients and increase sales penetration in new, emerging segments
    • Oversee expense management and ensure core client commitments are delivered
    • Create a scalable and repeatable process inside SEI to cultivate asset management innovation and new business ideas that drive top line growth, productivity or increased profitability
    • Serve as a credible leader to the industry and internally - understanding the core drivers of SEI's Asset Management business and indicators of success

    The Person:

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • BSc/BA in Finance or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus.
    • Asset Management/Investment Experience: prior experience in an executive leadership position in the asset management or wealth management industry
    • Scale and complexity: the ideal candidate will have served in a leadership capacity in a complex, multi-faceted and dynamic firm.
    • Demonstrated experience partnering with an executive leadership team to evolve as we encounter new opportunities and industry change.
