    Asset Management Service Rep I

    Job Description

    US Med-Equip Asset Management Service Representative, is responsible for all daily processes of managing and maintaining the inventory of moveable medical equipment in an acute care facility. The Service Representative will be responsible for the distribution of medical equipment within the facility, retrieval of the medical equipment once discontinued from patient use, and proper cleaning and operational performance testing of equipment to ensure readiness for the next patient need. The Service Representative will also be responsible for tracking equipment through use of US Med-Equip’s RFID equipment tracking system and mobile application.

     

    Job Responsibilities

    • Ability to provide high levels of customer service
    • Be comfortable working in patient care settings
    • Deliver and pickup equipment from patient care units in a timely fashion
    • Perform routine equipment rounds within the facility
    • Thoroughly clean and perform basic functional tests on US Med-Equip owned equipment within the facility
    • Aptitude to become patient care equipment subject matter expert
    • Works well with others to make contributions to the work effort as a whole and facilitates problem resolution.
    • Maintains an orderly environment that facilitates access to supplies, manuals, and other resource information.
    • Communicates with peers and management regarding any hazards identified in the workplace.
    • Organizes the workflow, problem-solves, and manages multiple ongoing priorities with minimal supervision.
    • Follows all safety rules as designated by the work site location. Reports all accidents promptly and corrects minor safety hazards.
    • Documents all equipment incidents in occurrence with both US Med-Equip and customer policies
    • Projects high degree of professionalism and is customer focused
    • Maintains a clean and organized work setting
    • Follow all company policies and procedures.

     

    Level II Responsibilities

    • Proficient in all USME Software & Systems pertaining to Asset Management programs.
    • Serves as part of the Orientation/Training team for AMSR new hires
    • Is a subject matter expert and serves as peer advisor in all AMSR roles
    • Under direction of Team Lead and /or Market Manager, can assign and verify peer work responsibilities
    • Trained & competent to perform basic Preventative Maintenance on USME equipment
    • Executes Rental Contract and Return Agreements through the GoUSME platform

     

    Level III Responsibilities

    • Performs as shift lead in absence of on-site leader
    • Understands and drives competency in achieving program Key Performance Indicators
    • Can independently address and resolve customer and program issues
    • Able to complete USME billing processes unassisted each month as needed
    • Operates as the designated program point-of-contact in the absence of the on-site leader
    • Ability to travel to other USME program locations to implement and orientate other AMSRs

    Qualifications


    Requirements

    Education and Experience

    • High School Graduate or equivalent
    • Valid driver’s license and good driving record for past 3 years
    • Level II requires 12 months of Level I experience
    • Level III requires 18 months of Level II experience and/or 4-6 years of relative industry experience

    Abilities and Skills:

    • Ability to provide excellent customer service to professionals in the healthcare industry
    • Ability to work multiple shifts
    • Able to read and write in English and perform math calculations
    • Able to work unsupervised
    • Must possesses excellent communication skills
    • Ability to push/pull movable medical equipment and lift up to 50 pounds
    • Demonstrated ability to service all Class A, B, and C equipment
    • Demonstrated ability to manage all assigned Class A, B, and C accounts
    • Able to complete USME billing processes unassisted each month as needed
    • Completion of the USME training program to assist in training of new team members throughout the organization
