Develops and implements the strategic vision, service offerings, and operations of the behavioral health department. Being a Top Behavioral Health Executive collaborates with other clinical specialties to ensure behavioral health services align and integrate with organizational objectives. Provides comprehensive and current knowledge of behavioral health research and trends to provide up-to-date and effective practices. Additionally, Top Behavioral Health Executive establishes training programs for all levels of staff. Ensures all behavioral health operations comply with clinical guidelines and regulations. Requires an advanced degree in psychology or related field. Typically reports to top management. Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities
- Collect and record data on client progress during therapy sessions
- Assist with the development and implementation of behavior support plans
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure effective treatment strategies
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding client progress and treatment goals
