Top Behavioral Health Executive plans and directs all aspects of a healthcare organization's behavioral health function.     POSITION SUMMARY: Functions as a core member of an integrated behavioral health team that may involve the patient’s primary care provider in a clinic and/or school-based setting while adhering to all applicable state and federal confidentiality requirements. Works under the direction of licensed behavioral health and/or medical providers, is responsible for coordinating referrals, and supporting behavioral health services as outlined in the patient’s treatment plan. One Health has adopted the SAMHSA definition of the term behavioral health as “the promotion of mental health, resilience and well-being; the treatment of mental and substance use disorders; and the support of those who experience and/or are in recovery from these conditions, along with their families and communities.”


    COMPENSATION: $18.68-$19.89 hr/DOE

    EMPLOYMENT TYPEFull Time 

    AVAILABILITY: Monday through Friday  (some travel may be required to both the Harlem and Chinook sites)

    MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    Education/Certificates/Licenses:

    Required

    ▪   High school diploma or equivalent

    ▪   Valid driver’s license

    ▪   BLS Certification (upon hire)

                      

    Preferred

    • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, in a related field, mental health aide, behavioral health aide, medical assistant, licensed practical nurse, or nursing assistant

     

    Experience:

    Required

    • Experience in a medical clinic or mental health setting; or
    • Any combination of experience and training which provides the equivalent scope of knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work; including the ability to communicate effectively with others, and work under the direction of a licensed behavioral health and/or medical provider

     

    Preferred

    • Screening for common behavioral health conditions
    • Knowledge of assessment and treatment planning
