    Lotus Behavioral Health is searching for an eager, energetic, and knowledgeable professional for the role of Behavioral Health Supervisor in an adolescent-focused substance use disorder/addiction treatment facility in Winter Springs, Florida. We are looking for an individual to support a holistic substance use disorder treatment program that has a focus on helping adolescents and their families. The vision is to deliver levels of care from residential through outpatient counseling, including family therapy. This role will be supported by a diverse and passionate workforce looking at the full picture of the behavioral health needs of our clients. This opportunity is unique as Lotus Behavioral Health looks to pioneer a work that will disrupt adolescent addiction treatment in Central Florida.

    Reporting To: Director of Behavioral Health

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The behavioral health technician supervisor is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care and coordination activities as directed by the Director of Behavioral Health. The primary purpose of this role is to provide supervision for our clients and to ensure their safety while building a rapport with them. This includes providing assistance to each client, working with groups, handling individual problems, setting of behavior limits creating documentation of the client’s progress, identifying the possible need for professional services and communications of such findings to professional staff.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
    • The Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor is responsible for general management of the residential community to ensure continuum and quality of care.
    • The Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor will be responsible for training new staff and ensuring they have completed their competency packet.
    • The Behavioral Health Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the BHTs on Shift and will Provide transportation to residents for community outings and meetings in company vehicle in a safe and legal manner.
    • Oversee transportation program to include transporting clients, coordinating admissions, monitoring van usage, cleaning, and maintenance.
    • Overall updating/implementing of the room search binder.
    • Overall updating the face sheet client binder and ensuring staff follows face sheet binder protocol.
    • Oversee monitoring of resident population, including monitoring of video camera feeds
    • Ensure adequate staffing.
    • Perform other duties maybe assigned from time to time.

    EDUCATION
    • H.S. Degree or GED required.
    • Bachelor’s level degree in psychology, counseling or sociology preferred.

    CERIFICATION/LICENSES
    • Certification as per State regulations
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for insurance coverage for driving the company’s vehicles.

    EXPERIENCE
    • Prior experience in leadership in another behavioral health treatment settings with adolescents a plus.

    OTHER
    • Strong ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle highly confidential information with professionalism.
    • Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
    • Must have excellent supervisory skills, and exceptional soft skills, such as relationship-building, communications, and listening.

    • Consistent work attendance and compliance with scheduled work hours (excludes approved FMLA absences)

    • Must comply with all Lotus Healing Centers Inc. policies and procedures.

    • Must possess/maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization.
    • Must have reliable transportation to oversee programming and/or attend training and/or meetings.
