Directs and establishes policies and procedures for the business office and ensures all office activities comply with hospital standards and government regulations. Being a Top Business Office Executive - Healthcare monitors the efficiency of the department and suggests and implements changes to improve overall performance. Business Office Manager
This position is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day Business Office operations and duties to include maintaining facility census, processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, maintaining Resident Trust Fund and facility petty cash, as well as actively participating in facility management responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Maintain daily census accurately and timely
- Replenish Petty Cash as needed and maintain facility records
- Manage Resident Trust Funds
- Submit invoices as required
- Manage facility office supply ordering
- Record and process accounts receivables as received
- Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable aging report
- Initiate facility/department Check Requests
- Manage facilities local banking needs
- Submit and maintain all credit card receipts for reconciliation and bill payment
- Maintain and initiate Resident statement/billing
- Maintain Resident data on Point Click Care (PCC)
- Provide Payor verifications for Therapy and other services
- Participation in facility Medicare meetings
- Manage facility resident room roster
- Attend monthly and quarterly QAPI
- Participate when required with referral management
