Location: Canterbury Health Care Facility

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the business office, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and resident financial accounts.
• Oversee the processing of insurance claims, Medicaid, and Medicare billing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate and monitor resident financial transactions, including payments, deposits, and refunds.
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial reports for management.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve financial and billing issues.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to long-term care billing and financial management.
• Daily Census Task
• Setting up Insurance Plans

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a business office management role within a long-term care or healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of billing and financial processes in long-term care including, North Carolina Medicaid/Medicare process, verifying payer sources, and insurance plans with preferential consideration for long-term care experience.
• Knowledge of RFMS resident trust accounts
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suites.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
