We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Daily review and verification of bank deposits
- Funding of various payroll and benefit transactions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
- Daily review and decisioning of exceptions in various fraud protection mechanisms
- Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Process accounts payable transactions and ensure timely payment to vendors
- Assist with special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles
- Proficiency in Sage, QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Solid understanding of technical accounting standards
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
