    SUMMARY:

    The Sales Executive is responsible for selling pressure sensitive labels and film packaging to various targeted markets.  The Sales Executive will submit specifications to estimating, prepare quotes and provide technical assistance to clients. 

    Responsible for the leading, managing and coordinating all elements of the quoting processes, from research to preparation and coordination of RFQ (request-for-quote) and RFI (request-for-information. 

    Responsible for developing a business relationship with the client base to facilitate and ensure client satisfaction and future business. 

     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Identify new markets, products, and adjacent service opportunities.
    • Cold call prospects
    • Cultivate and maintain working relationships to develop sales leads.
    • Provide technical assistance and coordinate solutions for key accounts.
    • Prepare pricing and quotations; negotiate terms and pricing on sales contracts.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction with excellent support, consultation, and presentation skills.
    • Coordinate sales efforts with other departments; ensure customer purchase and service requirements are being met.
    • Make periodic visits to customers.
    • Oversee the sales process to meet or exceed goals
    • Comply with company rules and regulations
    • Maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive data
    • Keep manager/supervisor informed of activities and situations that will impact the achievement of corporate or department goals and objectives
    • Perform other related duties as required to achieve the goals and objectives of the department and company

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE 

    • Knowledge of direct mail and printing a big plus
    • Outside sales within the label industry: 3 – 5 years (Preferred)
    • Packaging industry: 1 - 3 years (Preferred)

    • Ability to motivate and work well with all levels of personnel
    • Advanced organizational, management and project management skills
    • Ability to think strategically and tactically
    • Technical expertise in the label and film industry
