    Roofing Sales Representative (Experienced Only)

    What We Need

    We are looking for a few experienced roofing sales professionals with a proven track record in the roofing industry as being a high level closer. The ideal candidates will be extremely well-versed in the process of conducting residential roof inspections, estimating, presenting, and closing sales.

    Compensation Package:

    • $750 per pay period, plus commission ranging from 6 -9% of the sale based on experience
    • Optional straight commission available ranging from 9-12% based on experience

    Supplemental Pay Types:

    • Earn 2% additional commission with self-generated business
    • No cap on earning potential!

    Essential Functions:

    • Self-generate business. Expectation is about 75% of your business comes from self-generation efforts. This will include prospecting for new customers when not on appointments via online (Facebook groups, NextDoor, etc…), neighborhood canvassing via door to door, participating in networking groups and relationship building with realtors and insurance agents
    • Responding to inbound leads, setting appointments, conducting roof inspections then estimating, and selling roofing systems in customer’s homes using our sales presentation.
    • Participate in daily sales meetings and work together as a team
    • Keep production and accounts receivable department aware of any changes in your jobs, or customer demands, change orders, or other important information.

    Requirements:

    • Min 1 Years in Retail Residential Roofing Sales. Commercial sales helpful too.
    • Knowledge of estimating residential reroofs (asphalt, metal and tile)
    • Proven Closer (Must be able to prove sales numbers)
    • Proven Sales Record ($1M in personal annual roofing sales in a Florida market)
    • Knowledge of both retail & storm restoration sales techniques
    • A great attitude – self-driven, positive, and optimistic
    • Can self-generate business
    • Valid Driver's License with clean driving history
    • Must have reliable transportation
    • A strong desire to be the best
    • A professional appearance
    • Great communication skills
    • Ability to climb on a ladder and comfortable up on a roof
    • Good Communicator with ability to deal with a variety of situations;
    • Mathematically competent;
    • Strong PC skills and Microsoft office products – MS Excel proficiency required;
    • Good follow-up skills.
    • Desire to make $150,000 annually!

    Work Environment:

    This position will be responsible for a variety of sales-related tasks. This is a hybrid role where part of the time will be spent in the office (when not on appointments) and part in the field on sales appointments. A cubicle, computer equipment and office equipment will be available for use.

    Position Type/Expected hours worked:

    This is a full-time position and office hours are expected for meetings, training, appointment preparation and online prospecting activities. Operating hours for the business are M-F 8:00a - 5:00p. Some evening and Saturday flexibility to take appointments is required.

    Our Marketing:

    We use aggressive online ad and lead generation techniques including Facebook, Google, Next Door and Yelp.

    Earning potential: $80,000 - $300,000 per year
