    The Kentucky River Area Development District, an eight- county planning and development agency, is accepting applications for An Executive Assistant. This position, under the supervision of the Office Manager, will be responsible for answering the telephone, mail processing and delivery, greeting guests, and assisting KRADD staff and Board of Directors.  This position will also assist the Finance Department in Accounts Receivable duties.
      
     
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
     Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate Degree in Business Administration.  Two years’ experience in the clerical field is preferred and knowledge of Accounting processes and Medicaid billing is a plus.
    Applicants must have good working knowledge of computers and software applications, possess good written and oral communication skills, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public.  Must be able to work under pressure and against frequent deadlines with little or no supervision.
     
    BENEFITS:

Employer paid Dental and Vision insurance for eligible employee dependents.  KRADD also offers retirement benefits through Kentucky State Retirement and Kentucky Deferred Compensation.  Starting salary $30,000 with a 5% wage increase after a successful six-month probationary period.  Tuition discounts with Lindsey Wilson College available to KRADD employees and their immediate family members on applicable programs. Tuition reimbursement opportunities available through KRADD.  Employees receive paid annual state holidays and accrue annual and sick leave bi-weekly. Eight- hour work days Monday through Friday 8 AM till 4:30 PM.
     
    A competency test and criminal records check will be required before interviewing with the Personnel Committee of the KRADD.  Applicants must pass a drug screen for employment offer.
