Conrade Account Executives are trusted advisors who bring clients actionable knowledge and insights that help them protect and grow their businesses. Account Executives develop meaningful carrier relationships that allow them to deliver greater value to clients. They understand their client needs and are able to anticipate problems and find proactive solutions. Account Executives are leaders on their book of business and have opportunities to mentor Account Managers while working closely with producers. They are seen as subject matter experts within their line of business and industry focus.

NOTE: As a development program for career focused professionals, Conrade will provide the training and mentorship needed for candidates to be successful. They will start as an Account Manager training within a Client Service Team under the guidance of both a senior Account Manager and other mentors.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES:
- High client satisfaction and retention throughout each renewal.
- Rapid response to client service requests through leadership and coordination with AMs.
- Book of business growth through cross selling and referrals.
- Development of Account Managers through mentorship.

MAJOR ACTIONS OR INITIATIVES:
- Master the agency management system and associated processes and procedures.
- Master all related Account Manager skills.
- Study the book of business, including prior apps and proposals, and plan for renewals.
- Study associated coverages, loss histories, and overall P&C programs for the book.
- Network with carriers on the book of business and establish good relationships.
- Develop a plan for ongoing professional development.
- Coordinate with agency Marketing Specialist to create and execute an industry focused branding and networking plan.

DAILY ROUTINES:
NOTE: As part of the development program participants of this training program will first and foremost master all Account Manager related processes and procedures. The following items are tailored to the Account Executive role and will come as the participant demonstrates the ability to first do the Account Manager related routines.
- Oversee day to day client service from Account Managers and backup as necessary
- Organize renewals and track major deliverables, meetings, and other key dates
- Meet with clients proactively to discuss renewals, service, claims and risk management
- Meet with carriers proactively to anticipate market changes and build relationships
- Network with leaders and influencers within assigned industry focus
- Market Conrade through branding and marketing efforts

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years client management, consulting or business development experience
- College degree in business, finance, economics or equivalent
- Willingness to pursue a program for professional development
