Top Claims Executive plans and directs all aspects of an organization's insurance claims function. Responsible for managing and implementing claims programs for all lines of insurance. Being a Top Claims Executive directs the review and settlement of complex or high dollar claims. Develops procedures and policies to enhance and improve the processing, investigation, and settlement of claims. Additionally, Top Claims Executive ensures legal examinations are made when appropriate. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Claims Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function. The Director of Claims oversees our Claims department in their work to uphold the highest level of customer service for TTMT clients, via communication, precision, and timeliness. This position coordinates closely between multiple departments to successfully process claims while staying educated on the continuously changing world of insurance.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively monitors and maintains that client files are handled efficiently, accurately, and with quality workmanship.
- Supervises and coaches a diverse team of coordinators and team leads while encouraging a positive and supportive network of interdependence within the department.
- Offers coaching and guidance that consistently demonstrates high expectations with elevated executive presence and professionalism.
- Ensure department goals are met so we can continue offering one of the highest clean claims rates in the industry.
