We are seeking a BIM Manager to join the team at a high end residential general contractor based in Union County, NJ. You will implement BIM technology to assist in the construction of an exciting, large-scale residential project in Manhattan. Interested candidates should have at least 3 years experience working within construction, architecture, or an equivalent combination of training and or work experience.

Responsibilities of the BIM Manager - High End Residential Construction:

• Create 3D Models based on point cloud data and/or 2D CAD drawings
• Review 3D Models from consultants and contractors
• Conduct clash detection of all mechanical systems and coordinate with site crew to identify key constriction points
• Audit and review models in Autodesk Revit
• Hold coordination meetings with project team members
• Early design review and constructability analysis
• Manage / Update BIM Project Documents
• 3D Model Quantity Extraction / Verification
• Identify critical issues affecting scheduling, subcontractor performance, and assist PM team in solving issues by using creative engineering solutions

Qualifications of the BIM Manager - High End Residential Construction:

• Excellent practical knowledge of and 2 years of experience using Autodesk Revit, NavisWorks & AutoCAD
• General knowledge of construction processes and procedures
• Advanced PC skills, specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
• At least 3 years of experience working in construction or architecture.
• Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Ability to work in a team environment and strong interpersonal skills.
• Technical problem-solving abilities
• Candidates must possess a strong work ethic.
• Attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
