The Claims Processor is involved in processing claims, identifying the root cause of damages. Responsibilities:

• Enters & process new and existing claims in the database.

• Checks basic claim information and settles findings appropriately.

• Assesses provider disputes related to claims.

• Verbal and email communication with customers and customer insurance companies.

• Reviewing claim reporting, customer manuals, and other claim-related documentation.

• Create, edit, and send claim reporting and statistics internally.

• Uphold the company’s core values of Teamwork, Integrity, Respect, Excellence and Safety.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma required; associate degree preferred.

• 1-2 years’ experience in a heavy volume claims environment, preferably in trucking.

• The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service qualities, verbal, written and analytical strength to communicate and resolve difficult issues.

• Ability to work independently.

• Team oriented, possessing excellent interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in MS Office programs especially Excel (basic Excel test will be administered)
