We are looking for an experienced Collections Specialist to join our team at Bequest Funds. Bequest Funds is an asset management company that collects on 3rd party debt and mortgage notes.

This is not a remote role. You will be onsite 5 days a week. LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Make the necessary number of connections with borrowers to collect against quarter goals
• Spend 6 hours per day on the dialer performing outbound calls, emailing or texting borrowers
• Daily documentation of all account status records and collection efforts in our CRM system
• Propose and discuss loan modifications, settlements and other loan exits with borrowers
• Draft and execute loan modifications with borrowers
• Provide accurate daily reporting on all collection activity
• Administration tasks related to loan exits

• Skilled in negotiation
• Proven experience as a Collection Specialist or similar role
• Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques
• Familiarity with laws related to debt collection
• High school diploma: Associate/Bachelor degree is a plus
