The Leasing Specialist is the community’s sales representative whose primary duties are to greet prospects, to present the features and benefits of the community and properly secure lease agreements. The Leasing Specialist is responsible for assisting with maintaining all aspects of property operations, but with a concentration on the leasing, marketing, and client relations functions of the property. The Leasing Specialist strives for 100% occupancy through resident retention, leasing current availability and pre-leasing of future availability.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet and assist prospective residents with apartment tours and leasing inquiries.
• Prepare and distribute marketing materials and communicate with prospects.
• Maintain knowledge of current market trends and competitive properties and utilize marketing and leasing strategies to attract and retain residents.
• Process lease applications and prepare lease agreements.
• Communicate with team to ensure timely completion of maintenance and make-ready.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-in and conduct inspections with new residents.
• Assist with planning and executing resident events and promotions.
• Maintain positive relationships with potential residents, residents, co-workers, and anyone else working or visiting the property.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date leasing records and reports.
• Assist with general office tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails, reporting, and filing.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Community Manager

Qualifications

Apartment Leasing or other sales experience

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Drivers’ License
