The Church Auditing Department (CAD) is responsible for auditing all operations of the Church and its affiliates.
This Communications Specialist/Executive Assistant role will require creativity, strong communications skills, and project management skills to increase employee engagement, influence the culture of the department, promote consistent and effective communication throughout the organization, and help to solve real business problems. This includes the development of effective communications for use in department emails, SharePoint sites, digital signage, intranet articles, videos, and other communications. You will help create and execute the department communications strategy to help connect employees to the department’s vision and support each other. This position is also responsible for the management and formatting of executive presentations for the directors as support for the managing director, necessitating strong PowerPoint and writing capabilities.
As part of the administrative team, you will work closely with the audit directors and administrative staff to support the audit department’s vision of assisting presiding leaders of the church in carrying out the work of salvation and exaltation by providing assurances and recommendations regarding Church operations, activities, and internal controls.
This not a hybrid position and all work days are in the Church Office Building.
